Cafe Blossom

I am an absolute slave to all of the Blossom restaurants. Their cuisine ranges from gourmet to fast food to sweet, all of which is 100% vegan and 100% delicious.

Of course when they opened a new Cafe Blossom in our neighborhood in the West Village, it didn’t take much convincing to get us there for brunch. Their menu was amazing!

We started out our meal with the most mouth-watering appetizer. A vegan version of chicken cordon bleu, it was a crumbed soy filet and vegan bacon, cheddar, and steamed broccoli, topped with cauliflower puree and dijon mayonnaise. I love me some crispy broccoli!

Keith got Tofu Benedict, served with housemade cornbread, grilled asparagus, and vegan ham. This hollandaise sauce was fantastic. I’ve got to learn to make my own!

Tofu Benedict
This is a boring picture of french fries. Keith gets french fries literally every time we go out, no matter what the cuisine. It’s not embarrassing or weird AT ALL.

I ordered the old brunch standby, french toast. But this french toast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The caramelized sugar on the bananas and the vanilla cream sauce really did it for me!

New post when I inevitably come back for dinner. Blossom makes me happy!
