Hey all! Sorry it’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted. It’s been a hard couple of weeks; we lost our sweet greyhound, Turkey. He was 14 but it was still sudden and very sad. It’s still hard for me to talk about, so I will leave it to this lovely post that Keith wrote.
So, suffice to say, Keith and I have been trying to keep ourselves busy and active. And, when you’re feeling sad, what better to perk you up than buckets of sugar?
Dun-Well Doughnuts opened a couple of years ago and it’s hard to describe how good their doughnuts are. They’re often listed as the best doughnuts in the city, and, hey, it turns out everything is vegan.

Here’s a selection of the doughnuts we tried, and yeah, we tried just about all of them. Can you blame us?

One of my favorite things to get there is a vegan egg creme. That’s right, real Brooklyn style, but vegan-o!
Keith got a hot chocolate.

So, this post is dedicated to my puppy, Turkey. A dog who loved ear scratches like I love doughnuts.

WE lost our beautiful retired greyhound Angel at 13.5 quite suddenly too (june 9th) – she did the bed digging, licking all night thing too! we are only just now getting ready to get another.
